Reflecting on 2018, it’s difficult to say it’s gone by so fast, however it was more like an emotional roller coaster for the nation and the economy. One minute we are starting off the year excited implementing the crazy idea to turn our office into a cocktail lounge for our Office Launch. The next minute we were readjusting and reassessing our service delivery to in order to ensure that we cushion our clients against the harsh economic climate marred by the escalating cost of fuel and taxes. We have seen remarkable the efforts by our municipality EThekwini and Province in promoting investment in Durban and the surrounding areas. Highlights from Quarter 3

Quarter 3 was jam packed with everything from an International Film Festival to a Tech conference and everything in between! We’ll start in July where Brazil, Russia, India and China visited our shores for the 2018 BRICS Summit. As part of the summit Durban played host to the BRICS Film Festival at the Playhouse Company for a week-long celebration of storytelling and cinematic excellence.  Each country was honoured with the screening of 5 films followed by an intimate networking cocktail which gave the audience a chance to rub shoulders with filmmakers and sample cuisine from BRICS nations. THE SECOND QUARTER AND MAY MADNESS May was the highlight of the second quarter, we welcomed new clients World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) and Invest Durban while solidifying relationships with old ones such as African Renaissance and Global Labs. The African Renaissance Festival 2018 was opened by President Cyril Ramaphosa, he highlighted the government’s strategy for inclusive social economic transformation setting the tone for the festival. The message was carried through to the closing concert, which celebrated 20 years of African Renaissance and musical genres birthed in KZN. Energetic performances from Gqom artists, Rude Boyz and Moonchild Sanalley and Maskande, Mqadasi and Magmaqhinga had the crowd on their feet. Looking back on the first quarter of 2018 The year got off to a great start at our beautiful new offices (address ), to ignite 2018 we decided to have an office warming, any excuse for a party. We transformed our workspace into a cocktail venue where we delighted clients, stakeholders and service providers with delicious food from Eat Greek, glamorous yet relaxed summer décor from Lifestyle Bazaar and smooth music from Chris Jensen. Guests were treated to trendy gin cocktails, from The Gin Girls.
